I bought this as a gift for my mother, who’s a preschool teacher. She loves the story of Pinocchio, and so do her students, so I thought it would be a cute addition to her classroom. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with how it arrived. It came in a kettle box yes, a kettle box wrapped in tissue and bubble wrap that was stuck to the bottom. The box was bent and beat up, and the toy itself didn’t feel much sturdier.
The arms are so flimsy I was worried they’d fall off just from handling. I’ve seen many similar toys, and none of them had arms this weak. There were cracks all over it, and while I understand it’s meant to have a rustic look, this honestly looked like it had been through hell like it was made from water damaged wood.
I’d definitely recommend buying items like this in person instead of online. Slightly disappointed overall.
